The Mavericks have released a brand-new single off of their upcoming album, Brand New Day.
“Damned (If You Do)” is lead by band member Raul Malo’s vocals, sung over a Latin-inspired, horn-heavy melody. In the song, Malo sings of the pull between what the heart wants and what the mind says is right.
Brand New Day will be the first studio album to be released on the Mavericks’ own record label, Mono Mundo Recordings.

Zac Brown Band have released another one of the new songs from their forthcoming album Welcome Home.
“Real Thing” is the second song that Zac Brown Band fans have gotten to hear from Welcome Home; the band released the album’s first single, “My Old Man,” in early February.
